PEG SERENA uses oil paint and pastels to create emotional abstracts and portraits. She uses strong brush strokes and markings along with vivid colours to translate a depth of connection with nature and the underlying currents within each of us. She is presently working on a series of abstract work.
Peg also spends her time working in the stop motion animation world. She most recently worked at Woodenboy Productions in Portland, Oregon, on Guillermo Del Torro’s upcoming production of Pinocchio. Previous to this, Peg spent a number of years working at acclaimed Laika Studios on four academy award nominated films. In 2009 she had the opportunity to travel across the pond to spend some time with the folks at Aardman Animations in Bristol, UK.
